Candidates can apply for the CA Final Registration throughout the year. Appearing students have to clear both the group of CA Intermediate and IPCC Examination along with the article ship training as per the given guidelines of ICAI.

CA Final Registration Last Date for Those Who Cleared Both Groups of IPCC Together
The students who have cleared both the groups of CA IPCC together mandatorily require to do CA Final Registration themselves with the CA Final course before commencing articleship training.
If you are doing the late registration, your attempt will get shifted 6 months ahead. So if you cleared CA IPCC both the groups in Nov 2017, you will have to register yourself for Jan 2021 CA Final.

CA Final Registration Last Date for the Students Who Cleared Both Groups Separately
The students who qualified both the groups in different attempt can do CA Final Registration with the ICAI for the CA Final course up to the last six months before they will be eligible to appear in the exam.
If your attempt is Jan 2021, you will have to get register with ICAI at least 6 Months before your CA Final first Exam in which you are eligible to appear.

CA Final Registration Fees
You can get register for the CA Final after making the payment of Rs 22000/- for an Indian student.
In case of a foreigner, CA Final Registration Fees shall be US$ 1100.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for CA Final Registration.
As per the ICAI the minimum eligibility criteria to appear in the ICAI CA Final Examination is to clear the CA Intermediate/CA IPCC Examination with the minimum 50% aggregate percentage along with 40% marks in each subject.
There is no direct entry method for the CA Final examination; it is mandatory for the students to clear the examination along with a minimum 2.5 years of article ship training.
Appearing students can apply for a single or both groups of ICAI CA Final Examination before they have to complete the process of filling the CA Final Registration Process properly.

Candidates can register themselves by filling the Online CA Final Registration Form available on the ICAI website.

Step-1 Appearing candidates have to visit the official website of ICAI to get register for ICAI CA Final Registration Form.
Step-2 Now the appearing candidate have to enter their Registration ID and password and select the SSP portal for the begin the CA Final Registration Process.
Step-3 Over the screen student can able to see two options of the Student cycle and article cycle.
Step-4 Click on the Students Cycle to get yourself register for the CA Final Examination.
Step-5 Now students have to select the course level option as CA Final.
Step-6 You will be redirected to the page where you have to enter all the details of CA Final Registration Form.
Step-7 After successfully completing the documents it is advised that the students should go through it thoroughly.
Step-8 Now the candidate has to upload all the documents, marks sheet, and training certificate.
Step-9 After uploading all the documents, students will be asked to submit the CA Final Application Form Fee through Debit card, Credit Card and Net banking.
Step-10 Enter the Recaptcha to confirm the submission of CA Final Registration Form Fee.
In case if the student has made any mistake or wants to make changes in the language, examination center or elective paper has to wait for the opening of the correction window which is free of cost.

Criteria for Clearing the CA Final Exam
The entire syllabus of CA Final is divided into two groups. It is not mandatory that student have to appear in both the groups together. A candidate may appear in one group or both the groups simultaneously depending on his preparation.
A CA Finalist will become Chartered Accountant when he is declared pass in the CA Final Examination both the groups.
A candidate shall be declared pass when he secures minimum 40% marks in each paper of a group and 50% in aggregate of all the subjects of a group.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India gives a validity period of 5 years for the CA Final Registration.
